The hazard perception driving test

The hazard perception test is a computer based test where you will be shown 14 video clips, each lasting for about 1 minute. You will be shown a sample clip first, which will explain how to complete this part of the test.

The video clips feature various types of hazards, such as other vehicles, pedestrians and varying road conditions. You need to respond when you see a hazard developing that may result in the driver having to take some action, such as changing speed or direction. The earlier the developing hazard is spotted and a response made, the higher the score. You can score up to 5 marks on each hazard and the test contains 15 scalable hazards. The pass mark is 44 out of 75. The hazard perception test will be followed by a practical driving test.
"You were such a nice person who was patient with me and helped me with driving, I knew you would help other people and they would feel the same".
