Pass your driving tests with confidence

Before you can drive, you have to be at least 17 years old and hold a provisional driving licence. Once you have applied, it takes around 4 weeks to be processed, so be sure to send off for your licence in good time. You will need a D1 application form available from either the Driver Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) ordering service or from your local Post Office. Find out more from the official government website.
