Applying for your provisional licence.

Before you can drive, you have to be at least 17 years old, and hold a provisional driving licence.

It takes around 4 weeks to be processed so be sure to send off for your licence in good time. You will need D1 application form available from either the Driver Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) ordering service or from your local Post Office. www.direct.gov.uk
